Comedy legend to headline festival finale

Where: Cheltenham Town Hall

When: Saturday, September 22

Cheltenham Comedy Festival is set to finish in fine style yet again with a mixed bill of some of the finest, funniest and delightfully excellent comedians around.

Headlined by comedy legend Reginald D Hunter and featuring the exuberant Keith Farnan, the delightful rascal Jonathan Mayor and more acts.

Originally from the Deep South of the USA, Reginald D Hunter is now one of the UK's favourite comics. Reg is one of the good guys of comedy. A hypnotic, smooth-talking, very human comedian who hits your funny bone with tales of love, hate, death and all that is in between.

Reg has had a hugely successful career and has become a well-known face of primetime television shows such as Live At The Apollo, and is a frequent guest on Have I Got News For You.

Brace yourselves for Jonathan Mayor, a delightfully glam, 'self-obsessed, glittery queen with a larger-than-life personality who arrives on stage in a bamboozling mix of innuendo'. Enjoy. You're welcome.

A former solicitor, Keith Farnan has the natural ability to delve into themes other comics may shy away from and it is this aptitude that is placing him in the lead of investigative comedians.

He has been a regular guest on radio, both in Ireland and the UK, from BBC, RTE, Talk Sport, Today FM, Newstalk and all sorts of other warm and welcoming studios.

His television credits include BBC3's Most Annoying People, One Night Stand (BBC), Liffey Laughs (RTE) and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC1).
