See what Bourton has to offer at The Funstival

Where: Bourton Leisure Centre and the Cotswold School Hall

When: Sunday, October 21, 11am to 3pm

The Funstival is a new venture in Bourton-on-the-Water, celebrating the local community and showcasing the activities available locally for people living in and around the village.

The public are invited to enjoy a wide range of free events at the Bourton Leisure Centre Bourton and the Cotswold School Hall on Sunday, October 21.

The Funstival - which is being organised through the Health Connect community development project in association with Cotswold District Council - will run from 11am to 3pm and will offer free snacks and cakes, magic shows, face painting, a mobile climbing wall, swim sessions, aqua gymnastics, and other taster sessions.

Commenting on The Funstival, Cotswold District cabinet member for public health and wellbeing and leisure, Cllr Stephen Hirst said: "This is a great way of informing residents about the fun things on offer on their doorsteps.

"As well as impressive free events to sample and enjoy, local groups and organisations will be on hand to inform the public about their work and activities.

"The organisers are also aiming to kick start a wider consultation asking local people about their likes - and dislikes - about life in Bourton, and things they would like to see happening locally."
