College talent showcased in classic play

Where: Cheltenham Playhouse

When: Thursday, January 18, to Saturday, January 20

This week, Cheltenham College will present their first ever Scholar's Play, designed to showcase some of the best theatrical talent that the College has to offer.

Arthur Miller's seminal A View from the Bridge is a classic domestic tragedy, a story of desire, honour and justice in 1950s Brooklyn, in which Miller confronts the reality of the American dream.

The play offers the College's drama scholars the opportunity to display the full range of their talents in what promises to be a great production. In addition, this special event will be performed outside of the usual College setting, at the Cheltenham Playhouse, the town's foremost community theatre.

The play will take run from Thursday, January 18, to Saturday, January 20, and tickets can be purchased from the box office on 01242 522852 or from the Playhouse website.
