Cirencester Hobbycraft to host craft pop-up event

Hobbycraft Cirencester has announced that they will be taking part in the Cirencester Town Council's Community Health and Wellbeing Week.

The community event, which will take place between Saturday 11 June and Sunday 19 June, will be held in the Market Place and Abbey Grounds, and will showcase the array of services and activities available from organisations and groups in and around Cirencester, for all ages and abilities.

The Cirencester team will be attending the event with a Hobbycraft craft pop-up. It will be hosted in Market Place between 10am and 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 18 June.

During the event, the Cirencester team will be giving the community the chance to craft with their experts and will be hosting knitting, crochet, watercolour and felting tutorials during the event. On the Saturday, the team will be giving visitors the chance to win a variety of craft goodies in a Craft Lucky Dip.

Store manager Malcolm Davis said: "We're thrilled to be supporting this community event, and really looking forward to showing the people of Cirencester what Hobbycraft has to offer.

"Research shows us that crafting is great for your wellbeing and helps to bring people and communities together, and me and my team will be on hand to show the Cirencester community a few simple crafts that you can learn with ease. We have a wide range of craft materials available in-store, and my team of colleagues are on hand to support customers on their craft journey."

The Cirencester store hosts a variety of craft workshops, designed to give everyone the opportunity to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite. The workshops are suitable for the whole family with specific kids' sessions also available, and many come with a craft kit filled with all the supplies you need.
