Choral society set for Springtime concert

Where: St Mary's Church, Fairford

When: Saturday, April 21, 7.30pm

Fairford and District Choral Society's Spring concert takes place at St Mary's Church on Saturday evening.

The performance by the 60-strong society will include Johannes Brahms - A German Requiem (sung in English).

The concert will be conducted by the society's music director, Marysia Gorska-Saj,

and will be accompanied on the piano by Alison Howell and Jo Scullin.

The society would love to fill the 200-capacity St Mary's Church for Saturday's concert, which is the first of two they will be holding this year.

Tickets are £15 or £5 for under-18s and include a free drink at the interval. They are available in advance from Fairford Opticians or on the door.

The society offers a warm welcome whether you would like to listen to them perform or you would like to sing. It particularly welcomes young singers.
