Children travel for £1 over Bank Holiday weekend at GWSR

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is offering children's travel for only £1 over the Summer Bank Holiday weekend (August 24 - 26).

The special rate gives excellent value over the 14-mile heritage railway in the picturesque Cotswolds.

Fun for all the family with the sights and sounds of classic steam and diesel trains* before the return to school in September. Up to three Child Tickets (age 5 - 15) are available for £1 each when purchased with an adult all-day rover ticket (children under 5 travel for FREE).

Marvel at the beautiful countryside as you chug along. If you begin your trip at Cheltenham or Broadway, why not stop off at Toddington and visit the new café 'The Cotswold Halt', or alight at Winchcombe and join 'Wild at Winchcombe', where FREE children's craft activities are available in the Tim Mitchell building. These craft activities are delivered in conjunction with local crafting company Larkswold.

Whilst at Winchcombe, you could pop to 'The Coffee Pot Café' for some refreshments and maybe an ice cream for the children.

Tickets for the Summer Bank Holiday weekend are available to purchase online at the GWSR website. Please note that this is a website exclusive offer, and tickets must be purchased by 12 noon on Thursday 22nd August (not available at GWSR ticket offices).

*All locomotives are subject to availability.
