Cheltenham Gin Festival is just the tonic
By David Wood | 23rd October 2018
Where: Cheltenham Ladies College, Princess Hall, Bayshill Road, Cheltenham GL50 3EP
When: Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3
The Cheltenham Gin Festival showcases over 75 varieties of the very finest gins, most not available on the High Street, from the Four Nations of the UK, plus some fine gins from around the world.
Together with this, the event at Cheltenham Ladies College will feature some cool music and gorgeous 'easy food'.
The Four Nations Gin Bars plus the Specials Gin Bar are ready and waiting for you. You'll be given some tasting notes to help you choose and a very nice copa glass so you can enjoy your gin & tonic in a real garden party atmosphere.
A fine selection of regional distilleries will be on hand with advice and sample tastings. Cheltenham guest distilleries include local distillery Brennan & Brown.
The bars don't take cash; they will operate on a token system. Buy £5 tokens and exchange them for a 25ml measure, our selected garnish and a mixer.
If you're feeling adventurous, their talented mixologist will tempt you with a selection of gin cocktails for just two tokens.
So, if you want to keep abreast of the rare and exclusive gins coming to market, you'd be mad to miss this.
Over 18s only. Advance tickets from £12 are available from www.cotswoldsginfestivals.co.uk
