Cheltenham Comedy Festival just a week away

The 10th Anniversary Cheltenham Comedy Festival kicks off on April Fool's Day (of course it does!)

Among the outstanding shows on offer are:

Friday 1st April: Troy Hawke: Sigmund Troy'd: Top-drawer, scrabble based character comedy!

Saturday 2nd April: Lou Sanders: One Word Wow! Internet smash and star of Unforgiveable, with Mel Geidroyc, Lou brings another super impressive, funny and unique show to Cheltenham.

Sunday 3rd April: Two chances to catch comedy great Chris Ramsey at the Everyman (3.30pm & 7.30pm) star of the hit podcast Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed with his wife Rosie.

Tuesday 5th April: Matt Parker: Humble PI A stand-up comedy of maths errors presented by award-winning Penguin author (you don't need to enjoy maths to love this show).

Wednesday 6th April: Alistair McGowan: The Piano Show totally sold out on previous visits to the Everyman. Come and enjoy Alistair's new show in the intimate settings of the Parabola Arts Centre, where he'll combine his talents as master impressionist and comedian with his new-found talent as a classical pianist!

Thursday 7th April: The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre. The world's funniest footwear return - seeing is believing!

Friday 8th April: Simon Brodkin: Troublemaker. World-famous prankster and creator of the hugely popular Lee Nelson, is back on stage with his sensational new stand-up show.

For families, there is The Circus Sonas Family Show as well as a Family Friendly Comedy Club, and the week will be topped off with a Bumper Festival Finale featuring headliner Alan Davies and a host of supporting comedy talent.
