Charity concert to boost church's roof appeal

Where: Saints Philip & James Parish Church, Up Hatherley, Cheltenham

When: Tuesday, August 6, 7.30pm (doors 7pm)

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Sarah McQuaid will be performing a charity concert next week at Saints Philip & James Church, Up Hatherley, Cheltenham.

She will be playing a mixture of classic and original folk in aid of the church's 'Under One Roof' appeal.

Born in Spain to American art critic Jane Addams Allen (founder and editor of the New Art Examiner) and Spanish artist José Paredes Jardiel, Sarah McQuaid grew up in the USA, lived for 13 years in Ireland and now resides in Cornwall. She has recorded five solo albums.

Tickets for the concert are £8 in advance from Tony McFarlane on 07971 141110 or £10 on the door. 

A bar will be available.
