Brubecks play Brubeck in Stow

Where: St Edward's Church, Stow-on-the-Wold

When: Saturday, January 6, 7.30pm

The music of American jazz pianist and composer lives on in a New Year concert in the Cotswolds.

Brubecks play Brubeck features Darius, Chris and Dan Brubeck and the UK sax star, Dave O'Higgins.

This group was formed in 2010 for a 'one-off' tour to coincide with Dave Brubeck's 90th birthday and the broadcast of a Clint Eastwood produced film about Dave's career, In His Own Sweet Way.

However the quartet continues to perform annually and internationally, notably appearing in such famous venues as Ronnie Scott's in London and at St Edward's, Stow-on- the-Wold!

They have also appeared at the 2014 Brubeck Festival at Jazz at Lincoln Centre in New York, returning there in 2016. There is free parking in The Square, Stow after 6pm. Doors open for drinks at 6.30pm.

Tickets cost £20 from the Borzoi Bookshop in Stow on 01451 830268 or online from www.WeGotTickets.com
