Brewery Quarter bounces back

With a variety of venues including shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and entertainment spaces, Cheltenham's Brewery Quarter has it all this summer.
With only a 10-15 per cent footfall below pre-pandemic levels and a current 77,000 weekly visitors, things are looking up, according to Demelsa Coleman, marketing and communications manager of the Brewery Quarter.
She said: "Footfall may be lower than before the pandemic started, but we have seen a significant uptick and increase in revenue for the hospitality and leisure side of things, which is encouraging for our clients."
She adds: "The Brewery Quarter has a number of venues perfect for business meetings and anyone working from home who wants a change of scenery. It can be very dull working out of a makeshift office in your spare room, but going to a coffee shop or public work space can be the perfect pick me up."
Well-renowned Soho Coffee Company and world-famous Starbucks, as well as cocktails bars The Botanist and The Alchemist offer great spaces for meetings, whether it is with a latte or a fancy cocktail that you like to conjure up business ideas.
The new Escape Hunt is the ideal place for small groups to work together and problem solve and fantastic for improving workplace relations and getting people together in a time when many employees don't often see each other.
Hub 8 is a venue in the Brewery Quarter where companies can hire a space on a monthly basis to work and hold meetings and events. This too is an exceptional space for any business.
Demelsa Coleman expressed excitement that the Brewery Quarter should be celebrating great increases in footfall by the end of summer after the full easing of restrictions, as well as the opening of two new venues, to be announced very soon.
