Big Feastival announces chef line-up and family entertainment

Big Feastival, proudly presented by M&S Food, is returning to the Cotswolds this August Bank Holiday, from 26-28 August, with an incredible line-up of music, food and family entertainment.

Hot on the heels of revealing its epic music headliners The Human League, Anne-Marie and Stereophonics, today the festival has announced the first round of culinary stars and family entertainment joining the party.

Pastry chef extraordinaire, author and Junior Bake Off judge Ravneet Gill will be bringing some sweetness to the Feastival fields, while Thomasina Miers is set to showcase her incredible Mexican street food that the nation has come to love.

Also joining the line-up is chef and restaurateur, Robin Gill, who has worked under revered chefs such as Marco Pierre White and Raymond Blanc, and become well-known for his innovative neighbourhood restaurants.

One of the UK's most exciting chefs, 12:51 head chef and winner of BBC's Great British Menu James Cochran will be making his Big Feastival debut this year, while television chef and food writer Ching He Huang MBE will be making a much-anticipated return.

One of London's most exciting chefs, Lee Tiernan, will be serving up his thrillingly delicious food, alongside chef and owner of Michelin-starred Carters of Moseley, Brad Carter and London-based baker, food stylist and author Benjamina Ebuehi.

Ixta Belfrage, co-author of the New York Times bestselling cookbook Flavour with Yotam Ottolenghi, also joins the line-up and will be releasing her brand-new cookbook MEZCLA this July, just in time for Big Feastival.

Lizzie Acker, the much-loved Great British Bake Off contestant, known for her colourful vegan bakes will also be cooking in The Big Kitchen, alongside best-selling author and gluten-free food writer Becky Excell. A firm favourite of Big Feastival, grill legend DJ BBQ returns in 2022 to serve gnarly American barbeque food at its finest and entertain with his ideal blend of "meats and beats".

M&S Food is delighted to be Headline Sponsor of Big Feastival 2022, with several dedicated activities and areas for all the family to participate in across the weekend. First up, pay a visit to the Cook With M&S Food cookery school.

A festival family highlight, the M&S Little Cooks Kitchen & Allotment, and Meet the Producers, will provide an amazing opportunity for children to learn about food and get hands on with some cooking too.

Elsewhere, foodie festival goers can look forward to roundtable talks and tastings in The Table Sessions, Alex James' legendary Cheese Hub, as well as the return of Feast on The Farm.

Renowned for its exceptional family entertainment offerings, Big Feastival will keep even the littlest of festival goers entertained throughout the weekend. This year will see Children's TV Megastar Justin Fletcher MBE and Andy & the Odd Socks take to the Main Stage, while the Emmy-award winning puppy siblings Bluey and Bingo and Julia Donaldson's accident-prone dragon Zog will be causing mischief in the Little Dudes Den.

Over in The Big Top, Jaime Amor will take little ones on an out-of-this-world journey through Cosmic Kids Yoga and Comedy Club 4 Kids will make their Feastival debut.

Adam Henson will bring the farmyard from his Cotswold Farm Park, whilst Aardman Animations will give crowds the chance to create their own world-famous figurines. Families can also look forward to the Farm Yard Circus, with their group acrobatics and high energy, boot stomping shows.
