Gloucestershire Wine Lovers are celebrating the return of the Cheltenham Wine Festival, dedicated to the wonderful world of wine.
The festival features a grand tasting on Saturday, April 7, in the magnificent surroundings of the Pittville Pump Room, between 12 noon and 7pm.
Around 30 top independent wine merchants and producers will be showcasing nearly 300 special wines to sip and savour from some of the world's best wine regions.
This will be an unmissable fine wine experience for all those with a passion for wine and a great opportunity to travel by taste, exploring the wines of France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, the USA and many more.
Every wine has a story to tell and with the many wine experts exhibiting, it will be an excellent chance to taste, discover and learn about an exciting range of grape varieties, wine styles and the people and places behind them.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Cheltenham North, all profits from the festival support the work of charities including this year the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice.
Both wine novices and connoisseurs will enjoy the relaxed and informal atmosphere of the walk-around tasting.
Tickets for this celebration of wine are selling fast and are now available from www.cheltenhamwinefestival.com
