VIDEO Punchline Talks - Friday Briefing, June 4

Each Friday, www.punchline-gloucester.com editor Mark Owen is joined by leading Gloucestershire business figures from a range of backgrounds to debate the main news and issues from the previous seven days.

Taking their places on the business briefing panel this week were:

  • Patrick Downs - managing director - Trust in Property
  • Tim Gwilliam - leader of the Forest of Dean District Council
  • Jonathan Viney - director JV Consultancy Group
  • Peter Glanville - managing director of The WCD Group

It is a lively informative chat and a blast through the papers before getting behind the nitty gritty of their own businesses and market place - this week they cover: £20m Forest of Dean levelling up fund and regeneration/partnership that is hopefully going to take place, the current residential and commercial property market, The WCD group name change and plastic waste recycling and finally starting a new business in a global pandemic? It is not as crazy as it sounds.

We canter through lots of subjects from the people who are at the sharp end of business. The panel also selected their top stories from this week's Punchline. It is fun, informative business news - something for anyone who is generally interested in business.
