Punchline Talks! The B!G Interview with Bishop Rachel

Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen talked to the Right Rev Rachel Treweek, Lord Bishop of Gloucester for this B!G interview ahead of the Easter weekend to find out what makes her tick.

An extremely busy lady who never sits still, she is often thought of as the most influential woman in our county. Quite an accolade for the Bishop who came to post here in 2015 from London.

Listen to the Punchline B!G interview to hear how she spends her week which is varied and includes a visit to the House of Lords.

Two days are never the same; from prison visits to many meetings, managing her huge team and local gatherings with members of the business and community in sport, charities, health and education. Bishop Rachel strives to help as many people as possible in the community and in her 'CEO' of the Diocese role always considers the bigger picture to encourage and lead in these challenging times. Her word of the moment is 'hope'.

While the Dean will lead the Easter Sunday service, Bishop Rachel is out and about across the county, listening to Adele as drives. She admires the ethnic and cultural diversity in Gloucestershire and sees the county as a 'can-do' place.

She is also excited to welcome the new Dean at his installation on Sunday 23 April at 3 pm.

Plus - like all these B!G interviews we find out her 'TOP three Business Tips'. It's another great conversation and well worth the listen. If you enjoy the show, please - LIKE | SHARE | SUBSCRIBE.
