Sponsored by Infrastar IT Solutiions

Julian Dunkerton is one of the most prominent businessmen in the UK.

He is CEO of Cheltenham-based global clothing company Superdry and also owner of No. 131 in Cheltenham and Dunkertons Cider.

Originally from London, Julian moved to Herefordshire and started a clothing business on the Enterprise Allowance Scheme, getting £40 a week from the government. He sold the business within a year, making about £16,000.

He moved to Cheltenham aged about 21 and formed Cult Clothing, based upstairs in the Regent Arcade, which he built up to a £20m business.

Julian founded Superdry in 2003 which has grown to a £400m turnover business, employing 2,440 people with 89 stores in the UK and around 500 outlets globally.

Watch the video to hear Julian speak about floating on the Stock Exchange in 2010 and what he sees as the benefits of delisting has meant for his company.

Julian talks about the recently-launched Athletic Essentials range which is aimed at younger customers, as well as Superdry's partnership with Next.

How does he start the process of designing a new product? What does Julian think the most important thing in business is? And what is the biggest mistake he has made?

Julian, who ran as a Labour Party local council candidate "during my idealist days" at the age of 21, also talks politics with Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen.

But what does he think of Brexit and how much will Rachel Reeves' recent Budget measures cost his companies?

Julian also touches on the current controversy surrounding the marquees outside No. 131 on The Promenade in Cheltenham.

Finally, what are Julian's top three business tips and what's next for Superdry?
