For the past six months Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen has been working on a series of walkabout interviews 'on the changing face of the high street' with David Jones, managing director of Evans Jones.

So far, they have covered Cheltenham's Ice Rink and Christmas market, the Five Valleys indoor market/ food court and Stroud's famous Saturday market - but they have never covered David's journey in to the business.

The company, based in Cheltenham is celebrating its 50th year, it currently employs 20 staff with a turnover of approx. £1.4million.

David is a great guy, a great surveyor, town planner and businessman.
