Taking their places on the business briefing panel this week for a SPECIAL JUBILEE edition were:

  • Neill Ricketts - CEO of Versarien plc engineering company. Based in the Forest of Dean with over 100 staff and a turnover of over £4million. Versarien has recently has linked up with Superdry to produce a range of graphene enhanced sports clothes.
  • Sam Holliday - ex-editor of The Bath Chronicle Newspaper, he is now the business development manager for Federation of Small Business (FSB) covering; Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire.
  • Roger White - CEO, MD, and founder of Severnside Software Ltd. (SSL) based in Waterwells business park in Gloucester have been providing IT solutions to businesses for over 34 years. SSL provides IT support to companies who do not have their own IT department and also full software development services. His work has taken him all over the world including Spain, Portugal, Holland, USA, Colombia and Germany.

It is a lively informative chat with the panel working their way through the national papers before getting behind the nitty gritty of their own businesses and marketplace.

The panel fire through lots of subjects, including Prince Andrew, working from home, lack of staff, employers, travelling abroad/ airlines, Windsor Castle and more.

News and views, there is something to learn for everyone who is interested in business from the people who are at the sharp end of running their companies. It is well worth the investment of time to listen to four top experts - in business you never stop learning.
