E116 Punchline Talks! BBB with Cllr Max Wilkinson, Andy Bates, Sarah Mansfield and Mark Henworth

Each Friday, Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen is joined by leading Gloucestershire business figures from a range of backgrounds to review Friday's national and regional newspapers, discuss what is happening in their own business sector and in their own individual businesses.

Finally, they round off by picking the stories that have caught their eye in this week's Punchline-Gloucester.com.

The Business Breakfast Briefer show is sponsored by Hazlewoods Accountants and Business Advisers.

This week's panel of experts were:

Cllr MAX WILKINSON - the lead for economic development, culture, tourism and wellbeing for Cheltenham Borough Council and parliamentary candidate for the Lib Dems. Max covers a wide portfolio, but today he explains about the resurgence of Cheltenham High Street and why things are looking up.

SARAH MANSFIELD - co-owner of the £3.5 million Gloucester Food Dock, which has been under construction for the past three years. The site when it is finished will offer an eclectic mix of food and drink from 15 companies - many of them bespoke local, family businesses. Sarah explains where they are with the build, and who are the two new companies adding to the menu. Plus, why her Bath-based business decided to invest in Gloucester.

ANDY BATES - CFO Gloucestershire College - responsible for over 800 staff and over 10,000 students across four sites in Gloucestershire, with a turnover of £40 million. Andy explains about the new construction college that will be built in Cheltenham and why it is so important to the area.

MARK HENWORTH - owner and MD of Gloucester Framing and Arts on Commercial Road, Gloucester. He took over the business three years ago, having been the manager for 10 years. It has been a journey!

Jam-packed as always, the show is sponsored by HAZLEWOODS BUSINESS ADVISERS AND ACCOUNTANTS.
