Your chance to dine with the pride of the Lions - Hatherley Manor Hotel, September 27

With the British and Irish Lions set to take on New Zealand in the decisive third Test this Saturday, rugby fans will have a unique opportunity to meet Captain Sam Warburton later this year.

Sam will be guest of honour at a special gala dinner at the Hatherley Manor Hotel, Down Hatherley Lane, Gloucester on Wednesday September 27.

Having taken the reins for the second successive tour, The British and Irish Lions Captain joins an exclusive list of rugby legends such as Martin Johnson and Willie John McBride.

Guests at the dinner will spend the evening with Sam and hear him provide an insight into the 2017 tour and what it takes to be a Captain at the highest level.

The black tie dinner is being organised by Aitch and Aitch Bee Events Limited and sponsored by Punchline-Gloucester.com

Helen Hartery-Brown of Aitch and Aitch Bee said: "Without doubt this gala dinner is going to be a fantastic opportunity to hear from one of our sporting greats.

"With this team on the brink of history, we are so excited about the game this weekend and  whatever happens in Auckland I'm sure the gala dinner on September 27 is going to be an amazing evening."

Editor of Punchline-Gloucester.com Mark Owen said: "We are delighted to be sponsors for this prestigious event. There is sure to be a big demand for tickets so I would urge people to secure their places at this incredible event as soon as possible."

The evening will include a delicious three course meal, charitable raffle and auction. Maggie's Cheltenham, the centre that helps cancer sufferers and their families and friends, will be the chosen charity for the evening.

Standard tickets are £70 with individual tickets and tables of 10 available.

There is also just one VIP table of 10 remaining to include entry to an exclusive champagne reception, prime location seating and a selection of wine on the table at £1200.
