YouFibre celebrates 10,000th customer

Internet provider YouFibre has today announced it has connected its 10,000th customer, who lives in Cheltenham.

The Tewkesbury-based business announced its 5,000th customer just four months ago, and the latest milestone represents a doubling of subscriptions already.

YouFibre, which was founded in 2019, said it has seen exponential growth in recent months and is now live in 22 towns across the UK, with many more in development.

The lucky resident received generous gifts from CEO, Jeremy Chelot and managing director, Ryan Battle worth over £1,000, including a brand-new Apple MacBook Air and 12 months free broadband.

Mr Battle said: "Cheltenham is a special place to us, with our head office in Tewkesbury, and it's a privilege to be supporting residents with an ultrafast and reliable connection.

"I'm extremely proud of the hard work from the entire team in supporting YouFibre's rapid growth to reach 10,000 customers. But we still feel we're only just getting started in our mission to provide customers with access to ultrafast and ultra-affordable full fibre broadband.

"Whilst the cost of living rises, we are committed to helping our customers manage their broadband costs, which includes offering no fixed-term contracts and with no in-contract price rises guaranteed. Our full fibre connection isn't just reliable but enables residents to stream on multiple devices at once with no disruption at all, unlike many other providers."

YouFibre offers its customers speeds of up to 10,000Mbps, compared to the UK average of 79.1Mbps. YouFibre is powered by the infrastructure of full fibre broadband network operators, such as Netomnia.
