World war medals stolen from Lydney home

Medals from the two world wars have been stolen from a house on Lydney.

The 12 medals, together with some old coins, were taken from the house in Highfield Road between 11.15am and 1pm on Wednesday, August 11 while the owners were out.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area.

And they would like to speak to anyone who has been offered a large number of military medals.

Anyone with information should contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident 518 of August 11 or you can report information online.
