World food market fills city centre

An international food market sprung up in the centre of Gloucester this weekend.

More than 50 food stalls lined Eastgate Street and Southgate Street this Saturday, serving all manner of culinary delights to hungry shoppers.

Mark Owen, editor of Punchline-Gloucester.com said: "Gloucester was heaving. With the Orchard Street Markets at Gloucester Quays too, the city had a real buzz and it was great to see it so busy. Long may it continue."
