Woman charged with murder

A woman has been charged with the murder of a Gloucestershire man.

Sixty-five-year old Joy Liddell, of Sandyleaze, Gloucester, appeared before magistrates in Cheltenham today (Monday, February 2).

Paramedics treating Michael Liddell for serious injuries called police officers to the property in Longlevens, north of Gloucester, on Thursday afternoon - shortly after 1pm.

Ms Liddell spoke in court only to confirm her name and address.
