Wine retailer to open more UK stores

Majestic boss John Colley has revealed plans to open more than 50 new stores along Britain's high streets.
The chief executive told The Telegraph that its physical outlets were "sacrosanct" for the wine retailer, said Retail Gazette.

The firm has been on a opening spree of late, bringing the total number of stores it has unveiled since it was snapped up by US private equity firm Fortress in 2019 to 15.
In Gloucestershire, Majestic has stores in Westgate Retail Park, Gloucester, Gallagher Retail Park, Cheltenham and Stow on the Wold.
Colley is now planning to ramp up the retailer's expansion, focusing on suburbs and market towns, which have been mostly shielded from the ongoing cost-of-living crisis such as Henley and Marlow.
Colley said: "I think we can open another 50 or so stores in the next four or five years, which is a significant investment."
The boss said the plans included a mix of its warehouse-style outlets and small-format stores.
Bricks-and-mortar has been a key part of the retailer's growth strategy since it split from online retailer Naked Wines in December 2019.
