Three Gloucestershire hotels have been named in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Stay 2018 list.
The honours have gone to the Painswick Hotel in Painswick; Cowley Manor, near Cheltenham and No 38 The Park in Cheltenham.
The hotels singled out in the Sunday Times 100 Great British Hotels are said to be the perfect places for a getaway.
The Painswick Hotel is said to be "Hiding a secret corner of Tuscany. It's the upstairs lounge terrace -a wisteria draped balcony with stone arches looking over the hills. The wood panelled lounges with open fires are in keeping with the manor's grade2 listed."
According to the Sunday Times Cowley Manor is a yellow-hued stretch of opulence from the outside and the garden is a delight with smart spa and cosy drawing room.
No38 The Park is described as a 13 bedroom whitewashed Georgian townhouse in Cheltenham's leafy Pittville neighbourhood striking the sweet spot between stylish and homely.
"It's owned by the Superdry co-founder Julian Dunkerton but despite the pedigree there's not a hint of fashion-industry flash," says the Sunday Times.
The Hotel of the Year is Heckfield Place, Hampshire which is described as expensive but wonderful.
