Which county firms are amongst the UK's top exporters?

Three Gloucestershire firms have made it into the Sunday Times list of the fastest growing exporters.

Dairy Partners, Advanced Insulation, and Severn Glocon are included in the newspaper's International Track 200 of mid-market private companies with the quickest growing overseas sales.

Dairy Partners of Stonehouse are cheesemakers and the family-run firm has increased growth in overseas sales by 56.83per cent. Exports hits £14.1million in 2016 and it is ranked 74th.

Based at Quedgeley West Business Park, Advanced Insulation manufactures protective systems for the gas and oil industry.

With eight overseas offices it saw sales reach £52.6 million in 2016 with a 29.06per cent annual growth in overseas sales. It employs 422 staff and is rank at 146 in in the Sunday Times International Track 200.

In 178th position is Quedgeley-based Severn Glocon, the award-winning industrial valve manufacturer for extreme conditions.

Exports totalled £100.1million in 2015 with a 21.45per cent annual growth in overseas sales.

Employing 908 worldwide It has also diversified into renewable energy and water purification.
