Bank holiday weekend is here and what better way to celebrate than with a chilled cider and exhilarating music at one of Gloucestershire's liveliest festivals?
Witcombe Cider Festival, just outside Gloucester, opens its gates today with a one-and-a-half hour DJ set on Friday night from Judge Jules, as well as local support acts in the lead-up.
On Saturday, The Godfather of Grime Wiley will be bringing his influential and exciting set to Witcombe for the first time.
He will be supported by Phats & Small (pictured), Gloucester grime act Grizzo and Luzzey, Oa-sis, The Revolvers, Quigley, Daft Punk JP and Basement 83 who will be on stage throughout the day.
Sunday's headliner is another one of the UK's leading rap artists - Example - who will deliver his top 10 hits alongside DJ Wire.
Support comes from Oxide & Neutrino, local favourites Duke Official, The Novatones, Apollo Junction, Tommy & The Fuse and Sophie & Milliana Cottrel who set the tone for an awesome Sunday afternoon.
Witcombe Cider Festival has grown from strength to strength since starting in 2012 with 200 cider and music fans at Witcombe Cricket Club.
New this year is The Ciderologist. Gabe Cook will be giving an insight into the world of craft cider and cider-making, with cider presentations and tastings in the Craft Cider Bar taking place throughout the afternoon on both days.
If cider isn't your favourite tipple, gin, Pimm's and Prosecco will feature in the new garden area, while the fabulous festival food stalls will provide a great selection of tasty treats.
There is plenty of Family Fun too with a fun fair, circus skills In the Mini Big-Top, games and festival face painting.
Following the success of the festival's partnership last year, Rugby For Heroes are once again on board, raising funds for this great charity and will be on site at the festival in the Rugby For Heroes Zone.
There will also be a festival Bus Service to Gloucester and Cheltenham which will be taking festival-goers home directly from the festival field, starting at 9pm each night.
Tickets for Friday evening cost £10 and day tickets for Saturday and Sunday cost £30. Weekend tickets cost £50.
