What's On: Award-winning stonebalancing takes shape in Painswick
14th July 2017
Where: Painswick Rococo Garden
When: Until August 31, 2017
Awe-inspiring sculptures by a pioneer of stonebalancing art have gone on display in a Gloucestershire garden.
Adrian Gray is an award-winner at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and creates balancing sculptures using weathered stone in natural locations.
In the past 14 years, Adrian's work has evolved to include new ideas and themes, but the predominant feature remains the beauty and seemingly impossible nature of balance.
As well as exhibitions, the Devon-based artist also creates balanced sculptures as private commissions for gardens, homes and workplaces. They have recently been installed in a villa in Ibiza and the Yala Wild Coast resort in Sri Lanka.
Adrian's sculptures are in situ at Painswick Rococo Garden until August 31.
The garden is open daily from 10.30am to 5pm. Normal admission applies, which is £7.20 for adults and £3.30 for children aged five to 16.
