Weston Aviation appoints commercial director

After joining the Gloucestershire Airport based business in 2019, Nicole O'Connor has been appointed to the role of commercial director.

With two decades of experience in sales and business development in the travel and tourism industry, the firm said Ms O'Connor has been instrumental in supporting the development of local awareness for Weston Aviation and it's services at Gloucestershire Airport.

She will now focus on driving forward the long-term growth of the organization, raising awareness for using regional airports on an international scale with commercial activities, along with bringing her unique experience and knowledge on partnership building.

She said: "I am thrilled with the appointment of this role & excited about the prospects of driving forward the all-important message on the usage of regional airports for air cargo and passengers across the UK & Europe with additional FBOs, creating strong partnerships and looking forward to the further expansion of private charters.

"I will continue to work behind the scenes creating new opportunities and exploring projects in other parts of the business to develop and achieve a high degree of business resilience and growth for now and the future."

Ms O'Connor will work alongside Weston Aviation's CEO, Nick Weston and the operations team.

"Being new to the aviation industry, I have relished the opportunity to apply my experience from another industry sector, meeting extraordinary people along the way already and I am delighted to be part of such a reputable company."
