Welcome! New Ted Baker store in Gloucester Quays is open for business

Global lifestyle brand Ted Baker was busy with enthusiastic shoppers at its new outlet store at Gloucester Quays following its eagerly-anticipated opening today.

The store will carry the British brand's menswear, womenswear and accessory collections, including sunglasses, jewellery, and footwear.

Ted Baker was founded in Glasgow in 1988 by the CEO Ray Kelvin.

The brand has grown from a single store shirt specialist, to the global lifestyle brand it is today, operating 135 stores, 297 concessions producing a turnover of £456million globally.

It operates within the UK and Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Australia through a network of own stores, concessions and licensed partners.

Ted Baker joins a host of leading brands at the waterfront shopping, leisure and entertainment destination, including Crew Clothing, Calvin Klein, Fat Face, Jaeger, Asics and The North Face.

Punchline says Ted Baker's arrival is not simply just another retailer opening at Gloucester Quays.

It is a well-respected brand with a reputation for attracting other leading brands to its shop locations.

It is yet another sign that Gloucester Quays continues to go from strength, though it's a shame that womenswear retailer Jacques Vert has closed.
