Weird Fish attracts new prospects at Berlin trade show

Tewkesbury-based leisurewear clothing brand, Weird Fish, is set to see the brand expand further into Europe, following its first European trade show in Berlin last week.

The internationally successful event, profiled more than 600 national and international men's and womenswear collections. Weird Fish attracted new prospects at Panorama, including:

  • 32 new German customers
  • Three new UK customer
  • Three new French customers
  • Two new Dutch customers
  • Numerous enquiries from Russia, Italy and Ireland

Peter Darby, head of sales at Weird Fish, said: "The Panorama exhibition was really successful, with a focus on new introductions and quality of key customer visits. It was great to meet with new prospects and consider our international growth. We currently sell online in the US, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand but our exports to Europe, particularly in France and Germany, continue to grow."

Weird Fish's exhibition stand at Panorama was set up like a 'mock shop,' designed to attract buyers, retailers, influencers and journalists.

Peter added: "Now that Panorama is over, we'll be following up on key customer prospects and new leads from the show."

Weird Fish has 15 branded stores, 20 concessions and over 400 wholesale stockists spread across the UK.
