Wealth of information and opportunities on offer at 2017 Gloucestershire Business Show on 17-18 May

Anticipation is building among the thousands of delegates from a vast array of organisations and companies who are heading to the 2017 Gloucestershire Business Show.

The much-anticipated two-day event, which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday (17-18 May), is free to attend and features a packed programme of events all under one roof at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse.

Parking at the racecourse is also free.

Now in its third year, attractions include speakers from the likes of SuperGroup, Santander, Midcounties Co-op and Gloucester Rugby, access to more than 100 exhibitors, zones hosted by teams of experts from across the corporate, SME and not-for-profit sectors, specialist hubs, plus seminars and workshops focusing on a wide variety of business matters.

Topics for discussion by panels of experts include 'Psychology of money - How do you and your business relate to and manage money?', 'Business Risk and Business Threat', 'The human in the digital age' and 'How do I see the Future for a Business Like Mine? - Life after Brexit'.

In addition, GBS17 will feature networking breakfasts, an awards evening and black-tie 'After Party' raising money for charity partner the Piped Piper Appeal, plus an Investors Dinner for the county's financial sector.

Last year's show attracted a record attendance of more than 3,500 visitors, but the dynamic programme of events, developed in partnership with local business leaders, means organisers are expecting it to prove even more attractive.

Rachel Jones, head of communications for GBS17, said: "After months of careful planning to make sure everything is covered, we're now looking forward to a couple of immensely informative and enjoyable days at what is now the biggest event of its kind in the county.

"Building upon the success of the past two years, we're confident the show will provide information, advice and support for everyone who comes along, whether they're representing a top international brand or their own recently-launched start-up.

"There are some fantastic businesses across all sorts of industries and business sectors in Gloucestershire and the show is proving a great opportunity for them to showcase what they have to offer.

"To avoid queues at the event, we'd recommend that delegates register for the show in advance.

"Registering is really quick and easy. Just go to our website,  and follow the link."
