Has your business been approached for a licence to play music while you work - on the radio, on your holding music, or a television?
Six months ago the UK's two music licensing companies PPL and PRS for Music launched a joint venture, PPL PRS Ltd, to help protect the rights of songwriters, composers and publishers.
Since then its staff have been contacting businesses up and down the country to let them know they may need a licence (TheMusicLicence) to play music in public.
The aim has been to create a streamlined service - a single point of contact and a simplified administration.
Have you been one of the businesses approached for payment? If so, we would like to hear from you.
