VIDEO: Look inside the UK's first indoor greenhouse showroom

A leading greenhouse manufacturer has chosen Gloucestershire as the home for its first UK showroom.

The Juliana Greenhouse Centre held a grand opening at their new premises at Barnwood Point today, ahead of a public 'open weekend'.

BBC Radio Gloucestershire's gardening expert Reg Moule cut the ribbon on the showroom that will feature a range of Danish-designed greenhouses.

Juliana are now putting down some firm roots in Gloucestershire, with the new showroom operating alongside their UK headquarters in Stoke Orchard.

Together, across the two sites they employ around 30 people in Gloucestershire and hope to expand the operation further if they new showroom is a success.

The 6,600 sq ft showroom highlights 15 different types and designs of greenhouse made by Juliana, from a £400 Eden range to a £17,000 Gabriel Ash Grand Portico.

The Juliana Greenhouse Centre is the first specialist showroom in the UK, but the company have vast experience in sales from operations in Denmark and Germany.

There will be two full-time sales staff working at the Barnwood Point premises, which are now open to the public with discounts and offers available throughout the Grand Opening Weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
