Police are hunting a car driver who left a scene of devastation when he ran away after crashing into the front of a house in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The incident happened in Malden Road, Fairview, Cheltenham, on June 10, and resulted in 'significant damage to the front of a house,' said a Gloucestershire Police spokesperson.

"The driver of the car, a Citroen C4, ran away after driving in the wrong direction down a one way street and colliding with the building.

"Attending officers found that the vehicle was uninsured, untaxed and had no MOT.
