VIDEO Budget 2024 reactions: Richard Graham former MP for Gloucester

Richard Graham was the Conservative MP for Gloucester for 14 years, from 2010 to 2024. Here he gives his reaction to the first Labour Budget in 15 years.

Mr Graham said he was always expecting that the Budget was going to be a balancing act, despite promises of no new taxes.

Punchline-Gloucester.com editor, Mark Owen, asked him:

• What is your number 1 take on the Budget?

• Businesses can't afford the increased wages, they've got to find the money...

• Do you think the extra cash is really going to help the NHS?

• Rishi Sunak gave a very good speech. Could he have given better speeches when he was Prime Minister?
