Versarien receives 'range of offers' for assets

Advanced engineering materials company Versarien has said it has received 'a range of offers' from a number of interested parties for the sale of its remaining group assets.

The Forest of Dean-based company is in the process of conducting an accelerated sale of the group's assets consisting of Versarien's patent portfolio and its shareholdings in Total Carbide Limited and Gnanomat SL.

Versarien Graphene Ltd is in administration and Cambridge Graphene Limited and 2‐DTech Limited are in voluntary liquidation proceedings.

A statement from Versarien said: "A range of offers have now been received from a number of interested parties, which the board is currently evaluating. Until legal agreements are signed there is no certainty of the outcome.

"As previously announced, the company has taken actions to conserve cash such that its cash runway is now forecast, but not certain, to last until the end of September 2025. Further announcements will be made in due course as appropriate."
