Two new stores heading for Gloucester Quays

Two major brands have hinted about opening stores at the retail hotspot.

American clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger has revealed plans to open an outlet shop at Gloucester Quays.

Selling both clothing as well as fragrances, eyewear, watches and home furnishings, the business has more than 17,000 employees and 1,600 retail stores worldwide.

This comes as Molton Brown, the fragrance and personal care brand, also looks to set to open a pop-up store in the centre.

Molton Brown currently has a store in Cheltenham town centre, whereas the nearest Tommy Hilfiger shop is in Swindon's Designer Outlet.

The news on both of these new additions broke last week as four job adverts went live online seeking employees to work in the new shops. The both full and part time positions include assistant and store managers, sales associates and senior consultants.

Gloucester Quays is owned by Peel and is branded as Lifestyle Outlets. Leading brands already at the centre include All Saints, Bench, Skechers, Nike, Calvin Klein, Fat Face, Joules, The North Face, Carluccio's, Bill's and Portivo Lounge.

None of the job descriptions advertise an opening date, however Molton Brown specifies a start date of September 2020.
