Trio of senior promotions at major Gloucestershire law firm

Three senior solicitors at one of the county's biggest law firms have been promoted to the position of legal directors.

Caroline Davies, Kerry Raymond and Kirsten Compton all now join the board at Brockworth-based Davies and Partners Solicitors.

Ms Davies has worked for the firm since 2017 in both the land acquisition and disposal and planning departments where she specialises in residential property development.

She advises national housebuilder clients in relation to the acquisition and disposal of development land, including the sales of affordable housing.

Ms Compton has worked the firm's commercial property department since joining in 2017 and will head up the growing commercial property team.

According to Davies and Partners she is renowned for her extensive knowledge and specialisms in sales, purchases, leases and refinancing of commercial buildings advising clients across business sectors including manufacturing, engineering, retail, leisure and hospitality.

And there are double celebrations for Ms Raymond, who has also taken over as the head of department of Davies and Partners' residential conveyancing team.

She advises a wide range of clients from those moving home or re-mortgaging their current property, to residential property investors adding to their residential property portfolio.

Ewan Lockhart, chief executive of Davies and Partners, said, "We are delighted to start the New Year with the announcement of the much-deserved promotions of Caroline, Kerry and Kirsten to the roles of legal directors.

"All three have provided considerable specialism to their individual departments over many years and they will all play a key role in supporting the firm's continued growth plans during 2020."
