The Entertainer, which has stores in Cheltenham and Gloucester, saw pre-tax profits rise increase by 29 per cent to £14.7 million over the same period, as reported by Retail Gazette.

The retailer has made the most of the collapse of Toys R Us last year and also acquired Early Learning Centre from Mothercare for £13.5 million.
