Local burger creators, The Beefy Boys, will be showcased in an upcoming episode of the new BBC series The Hidden World of Hospitality with Tom Kerridge. The episode featuring their journey is scheduled to air on BBC Two at 8.00 pm on Thursday 3rd August 2023.

The Hidden World of Hospitality with Tom Kerridge will delve into the intricacies of the hospitality industry over eight episodes, providing viewers with an exclusive glimpse into its inner workings. The series, hosted by the renowned Gloucester-born chef, Tom Kerridge, highlights the dedicated professionals and the risks that they undertake to push the industry, and their businesses, forward.

Founded in 2011 by four childhood friends with a shared passion for quality local produce and American-style burgers, The Beefy Boys have represented the UK at The World's Best Burger Competition in Las Vegas and recently at the 2023 National Burger Awards, in which they won Burger of the Year. They also picked up multiple awards from the World Food Championships including 'Best Burger' and second place for the 'Best Burger Team in the World category.

Founding member Anthony 'Murf' Murphy was also crowned Burger Chef of the Year. This award win came just days before the February opening of their third restaurant, in Cheltenham, adding to Shrewsbury and Hereford and an event food truck.

The Hidden World of Hospitality with Tom Kerridge starts on Thursday 27th July, with the Beefy Boys set to appear in Episode 2 on Thursday 3rd August at 8 pm on BBC Two.
