Three businesses targeted by thieves in Cheltenham

Police are investigating a series of burglaries in Cheltenham which they believe may be linked.

Three burglaries have taken place at businesses in the town over the last two nights.

In the first incident on Tuesday (April 20), the window of property on High Street was smashed at around 2am. A man, who was described as white and wearing a grey hoodie and black baseball cap, was seen running off in the direction of Albion Street holding a till.

At around 4.20am on Wednesday (April 21), a property on Hewlett Road had its window smashed. A man was seen leaving the scene holding a till and running in the direction of London Road.

Officers have also received a report today of a window being discovered smashed at a business on Priors Road and a till being taken.
