Thieves raid Cheltenham offices

Police have confirmed thieves targeted a major Cheltenham office block, stealing IT equipment.

It is believed the raid took place on Wednesday morning with burglars broke into Festival House.

The Formal Investments managed building in Jessop Avenue, near to Waitrose, is home to the likes of Lilian Faithfull Trading Limited, Steinhoff UK Retail Limited, Retail Interests Ltd, Serais Investments Limited, Harveys Furniture Limited and Nine Telecom Ltd.

"Offenders forced entry to the premises and gained access to an office building once inside.

"A number of laptops were stolen," said a spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary, who said police had received a call about the incident on Wednesday morning.

Formal Investments is a Cheltenham-based private investment and asset management company.

It also owns the newly-built neighbouring property now seeking tenants - Honeybourne Place.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 and reference incident 79 of June 26.
