Theft from Gloucester shop

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with thefts from a shop in Gloucester.

The incidents happened on two separate occasions from a store on Northgate Street.

On both occasions, a man had parked a bicycle outside of the shop before entering and grabbing items. He then ran off without paying for them.

The first theft, which took place on May 9, saw a man steal a handbag. The second incident, which happened three days later on May 12, involved a man stealing two further handbags.

Following a number of enquiries, investigating officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the thefts.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who has any further information, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website , quoting incident 137 of May 12.
