Charity golf day announced

Local charity, The Pied Piper Appeal, has shared details of its annual fundraising golf day.

The event will take place on Friday, June 27 at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex.

Entry is £395 for a team of four, which includes:

• Coffee and bacon rolls on arrival

• Halfway house

• 18-hole Texas Scramble competition

• Presentation dinner with great prizes

There will also be nearest the pin prizes, a yellow ball challenge, an auction and a raffle.

Every penny raised will help support sick and disabled children in Gloucestershire.

Funds will support Gloucestershire special schools with equipment and resources; send children with life limiting illnesses and their families on Wish Holidays; fund the Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital; and improve children's experiences with mental health facilities.

The Pied Piper Appeal is also looking for organisations to donate prizes or sponsor a hole for £65.
