The King’s School open morning

The King's School in Gloucester is holding an open morning on Saturday May 14.

The open morning is a great opportunity to visit on a typical school day and see the school's teaching and learning in action.

King's is an award-winning, independent day school with just over 700 pupils, girls and boys, aged 3 to 18. It is right next to Gloucester Cathedral, which is integral to the life of the school and gives it a special sense of identity.

King's prides itself on providing a genuine love of learning to its pupils. It does this by offering stimulating and engaging lessons in small classes and also by encouraging children to pursue their personal interests. It has a varied and enriching range of co-curricular activities in sport, music, performing and creative arts.

The school celebrates individual talent and excellence, and pupils of all ages have a very strong sense of community. This blend of personal achievement and team spirit is one of the defining qualities of King's.

Pastoral care is a high priority. The school works in close partnership with parents to create a secure environment where children of all abilities can thrive and be happy.

To attend the open morning, pre-register via the school website www.thekingsschool.co.uk.
