On Saturday, October 17, an Apple Day is being held from 10am to 4pm. This is an annual event at The Folk celebrating Gloucestershire apples and cider making which has been taking place for the last 10 years.

  • The Cider Mill will be open specially for the day.
  • The café will be open with children's activities on throughout the day.
  • Free entry to all.

Next month, The Folk will be hosting a day celebrating the Railway Industry in Gloucester for the first time. Railway Day takes place on Saturday, November 14, between 10am and 4pm.

The following highlights of the event are:

  • The Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Museum will be here to tell the forgotten history of this impressive company.
  • Ian Hatton will be telling tales from the railway and reveal some surprising stories from the past.
  • The Café will be open and children's activities available.
  • Free entry to all.
