Tewkesbury home improvements firm to consolidate brand

The Joedan Group is gearing up for a rebrand, which will see all of it's design centres trading under the same name of Joedan Windows & Doors.

Established in Tewkesbury in 1985 and now with more than 200 employees, the family run business designs, manufactures and sells bespoke aluminium windows and doors.

Joedan has revealed plans to rebrand three of it's five design centres in Winchester, Hampshire, Orpington, Kent and Newport, Isle of Wight under the one name of Joedan Windows & Doors, to match the branding of its Tewkesbury and Bournemouth sites.

Founder John Purcaro said: "Due to a period of significant growth and investment, we believe that now is the right time to bring all of our design centres under the Joedan name.

"The decision is the perfect opportunity to revitalise the group and will not only strengthen our commitment to our staff, but will also reinforce our continued investment, unique product placement and dedicated service to our customers."

The group also has its own manufacturing and production facilities, fabricating their own aluminium windows and doors.

Joedan's bespoke aluminium 'Lusso' products - Italian for luxury - are said to have strength, durability and design flexibility as well as being suitable for all weather conditions as they don't twist or buckle and have thermal properties.

The firm added that the design and strength of its aluminium products means that the frames can be thinner allowing more glass to be used which lets in more natural light.

Mr Purcaro said: "One of our key factors is the 'carbon footprint' and our philosophy of environmental concern and choices we offer reflect this. Our manufacturing, supply and installation operations follow strict recovery and recycling policies."

With a fleet of 78 company-owned vehicles, Joedan also carries out all of its own deliveries to its businesses and customers.

As well as five design centres and its manufacturing facility, the group also owns Joedan Commercial Division. This part of the business specialises in commercial glazing refurbishment, providing local authorities, schools, architects and building contractors with a diverse choice of architectural glazing systems.

Joedan's commercial products are commonly installed at hospitals, schools, fire stations, retirement homes, offices and business premises.

With plans to officially launch in January 2022, the rebrand will see new signage installed both externally and internally as well as new marketing material, a new website, new uniforms and new fleet livery.

Mr Purcaro added: "We look forward to bringing our dedicated staff along with us on what will be a fantastic journey. We would like to reassure our loyal customers that they can still expect to experience the high standard of professionalism and service that makes the Joedan Group an industry leader."
