Tesco expands Whoosh delivery service

Tesco is expanding its Whoosh same-day delivery service to 800 UK stores by the end of the month, report The Mirror.

The delivery service, which was first launched in 2021 and expanded to 600 stores last year, aims to get groceries to you between 30 minutes to an hour after ordering them

According to the Tesco website there are at least six stores in Gloucestershire which offer Whoosh deliveries.

The service costs £2.99 each time, with an extra charge of £2 if your order is under £15 and there is no minimum spend, meaning you could do your weekly shop and get it in half an hour.

Only around 80 items are currently available on Whoosh delivery but they currently include Easter and pancake day items, everyday essentials, fruit and vegetables, breakfast basics, alcohol, evening meals and Tesco's finest.

Whoosh is a separate to the supermarkets usual home delivery service which costs between £3.50 and £7 for slot unless you are signed up to its "Delivery Saver" pre-pay options.
